What We Believe

The doctrinal foundation of Life & Mercy Christian Fellowship is completely rooted in the Word of God.

We believe:

- In the Bible as the infallible word inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:15-16)

-In one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 29:19; Mark 12:29)

-In the virgin birth of Christ, His death, resurrection, and ascension (Isaiah 7:14; Romans 8:34; Acts 1:10)

-In salvation through grace by the blood of Jesus (Romans 3:25; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:13-15)

-In water baptism by immersion in water for believers (Matthew 28:19)

-In divine healing through the redeeming work of Christ on the cross (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:13-14)

-In the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in new tongues (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 15:8-9, 19:6)

-In the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit who helps the believer live a holy life (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Pet 1:15-16)

-In the second coming of Christ and his millennial reign on earth (Acts 24:15; Luke 14:14; Revelation 19:7-9; Revelation 20:1,7)
